I’m Liza from Bright Oak Celebrancy.
I am an independent celebrant weaving ceremony under the oaks and open skies of the South Downs.
Based near Hassocks in West Sussex, I create bespoke weddings, handfastings, vow renewals, baby namings, coming-of-age rites, and memorials for those who long for something rooted, personal, and true to who they are.
I came to celebrancy after years of facilitating gatherings, sitting with transitions, and watching what happens when people are truly seen and held in a meaningful moment. Now in study as a celebrant, I bring that experience together with fresh energy, care, and deep intention to every ceremony I create.
I work inclusively across all faiths and none, drawing on nature and ritual to mark life’s thresholds with meaning.
